Stavrovouni Monastery.

Stavrovouni Monastery is located in the west part of Larnaca.
It is the oldest monastery on Cyprus. There have access only men. The Stavrovouni monastery was founded in IV century by Empress Helen, mother of Constantinos the Great. She left in the monastery a part of the holly cross, brought from the Holly Land.
It is not allowed to take photos in the monastery and around the area as nearby is located a military base.
