Kykkos Monastery. 
Kykkos Monastery is situated in north-west part of Troodos.
It is the most famous monastery on Cyprus. The story of its origin is quite curious. The founder of Kykkos Monastery is considered monk Isaiyo who lived in XI century. Isaiia cured the ill daughter of Constantinople Imperator. As a gratitude, Imperator given him an icon with Saint Maria's image. This priceless icon has been painted by apostle Luca itself. The icon has been brought to Cyprus and it is considered wonder-working. The look of Saint Maria is covered, as it is consider that is possible to get blind watching her. Numerous pilgrims came here to bow at the icon. The interior of the monastery amaze its guests with its splendid appointments. The monastery's museum keeps Byzantine and religious relics.
